So, electing Obama in 2008 wasn't just a fluke. We love him for real. And not just that, we don't like grey-faced white dudes telling us what rape is, grey-faced white dudes telling us who we can marry, or grey-faced white dudes deciding what we can or can't ingest. I know that the pendulum always swings, and that in my lifetime we will likely take at least one ride back to Neoconville, but today I'm enjoying the fantasy that the United States is actually evolving into the progressive, forward-looking nation it's always claimed to be.
Yes. I wholeheartedly agree. Especially with the part about the grey-faced white dudes.
