I know s/he's out there. I've sent out 14 queries and gotten nine responses, all either positive or form rejections (i.e., nobody has said, "this thing is a piece of shit"). Eventually, by process of elimination, I'll find the agent that's the right fit for Nine Days. I just wish it wasn't taking so long.

I'm happy to hear that you've gotten some positive responses, though. That's really good, right? S/he's for sure out there. And s/he's probably saying something along the lines of, "I wish I could find the perfect writer to represent...I just wish it wasn't taking so long."
